About TRACKS

TRACKS was established in 1992 to identify and carry out projects which would enhance the local environment of Kinross-shire and Glenfarg, Scotland.

Our mission statement:  “Opening doors to the countryside today for our children’s future tomorrow”.

TRACKS is a registered Scottish Charity and secures funding from a variety of sources to support projects which will benefit the present and future community. Registration number: SC030183

The committee of volunteers employs a part time Project Officer to co-ordinate and manage each project from conception to completion.

The objectives of the TRACKS Committee are:

a) To promote an understanding and appreciation of the natural, built and cultural heritage of the Kinross-shire and Glenfarg area of Central Scotland

b) To enhance for the public benefit the conservation and protection of the natural, built and cultural heritage of the area.

c) To facilitate greater community and visitor participation and enjoyment in the activities of walking, cycling and horse riding in the area through the development of access arrangements and a network of footpaths, cycle tracks and bridleways.
